“Father gave water”
The culture developed from this phrase in childhood, the most important period of life considering creation of one’s character, is the base for many of my artworks and it’s still going on and on. They have taught us that it’s the father who waters, feeds… The role of the father as the protector is imposed to us as well as to our fathers and ultimately after passing our real fathers by, it’s converted to an illusion from presence of an unknown role. We are passive and washed out against it. There is a father somewhere that grants “water, bread and pomegranate” and we can only use whatever he gives and nothing else.
